QUASI RE. Vita di Fortebraccio Capitano di ventura, 2014 winner of the price ITALIA MEDIEVALE, it is a literary painting, between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, of the noble Fortebraccio da Montone, the umbrian Captain. He has become the Lord of Perugia and aim to be the first king of Italy, expelling the foreigners presence and restricting the Papal power to souls. He conquers the whole Central Italy, down to Rome. His dreams is about to realise but the new Pope Martin V (of the roman family Colonna, enemies of Umbria) feigning a negotiation, engages a cruel war that will end with the imprisoning and the sentence of death of Fortebraccio da Montone.
